How Pickup Works

We don't deliver, and we don't work with any delivery apps. Every order is placed directly with us and picked up at the counter. It's simple, it's faster, and nothing gets cold in a courier's car.

Place your order

Use the menu on this site, or call us at (920) 398-1422. If you're ordering for more than 6 people, please call instead of using the site — we'll need a longer head start.

Wait for confirmation

When you place an order on the site, you'll see a confirmation screen with your order number. Write it down or take a screenshot. That's your ticket at the counter.

Give us time to cook

Standard orders take 20–30 minutes. Larger orders (6+ entrées) take 45–60 minutes. If you're picking up during the Friday fish fry rush, add 15–20 minutes to be safe.

Arrive at the diner

We're at 51 W Water St, Markesan, WI 53946. Street parking out front is free and usually open. If it's full, there's a public lot behind the building — walk around the side.

Pick up and pay at the counter

Walk in, give your name or order number to whoever's at the register, and pay with cash or card. We don't take payment online. Take your food and you're done.

A note on timing: If you're running late, call us. We'll keep your food warm for a bit, but after 20 minutes past your pickup time we can't guarantee it'll still be at its best. If you're early, no problem — we'll let you know when it's ready.

Parking

Free street parking is available on Water Street in front of the diner. If you're just running in, hazards on for a couple minutes is fine — half of Markesan does it. For larger orders or if you'll be more than five minutes, use the public lot behind the building.
